The APAP Open Clinic – Expanded Consultation Opportunities for 2010

The Clinic is open and the specialists are in! Back by popular demand for one-on-one consultations with knowledgeable specialists at APAP, we have expanded one-on-one sessions with the establishment of the APAP Open Clinic – expanded opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge and guidance in addressing the challenges they face, from colleagues with expertise and experience in targeted areas.

The Open Clinic hours are slotted from 9:00am - 5:00pm each day, beginning Saturday, January 9 through Monday, January 11. Conference registrants will be able to search the availability of specialists and schedule a consultant time online and at the Consultation Sign up Kiosk, which will be located in the Conference registration area on the second floor of the Hilton New York. NOTE: Online sign up will be available in December.

Here are a few of the specialists who are currently scheduled to provide consultation services as part of the Clinic: Alan Brown and Jennifer Novak-Leonard (WolfBrown) – audience behaviors, trends in cultural participation, engagement practices and stakeholder value; Adam Friedson (Friedson Enterprises) – sponsorships; Brian Taylor Goldstein, Jonathan Ginsburg, and Andi Floyd (FTM Arts Law) – arts and entertainment law and artist immigration, including visas and taxation issues; Halsey and Alice North (The North Group) – fundraising, including capital and endowment campaigns; Peggy Outon (Bayer Center for Non-profit Management) – board leadership.
