Media Credential PolicyThose requesting media registration must be currently employed by a publication or news organization. Each organization is limited to no more than three media representatives, except newsletters, which are limited to one. We will consider additional television and radio crew in addition to the allotted three representative members on an organizational basis. An online media registration form will be available on September 14, 2009. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. In some cases, additional materials may be requested to support the decision to grant media credentials. Arts Presenters reserves the right to deny press credentials if proper documentation is not provided. The press credential is not transferable and may be revoked at any time. You must fall under one of the following media guidelines to receive media registration: Media GuidelinesBusiness and Trade Publications/News Wire ServicesReporters and editors from magazines, newspapers, trade publications, and wire services must provide a business card. Contributing editors and reporters must verify they have been retained to cover APAP Conference NYC 2010 by presenting a letter of assignment on employer's letterhead. Television, Radio and Still PhotographyBroadcast reporters and producers from news organizations must provide a business card and a letter of assignment on employer's letterhead. At the conference, you may not bring a video camera or video equipment onto the EXPO Hall floor without an approved Conference escort and proper press credentials. Please request an escort during your online registration if you plan to shoot our EXPO Hall floor. You many not take any photographs of exhibit booths or products without first obtaining permission from those being photographed. Freelance WritersFreelance writers must verify they have been retained to cover APAP Conference NYC 2010 by presenting a letter of assignment on employer's letterhead. Online PublicationsReporters from online publications must provide a business card and a letter of assignment on employer's letterhead. The Web site must contain editorial content and cover arts presenting, performing arts, arts advocacy and the business of arts related issues. Personal web pages and blogs will not be accepted. Online BlogsArts Presenters is committed to working with the emerging media sector of independent reporters, columnists, and journalists who reach diverse audiences via blogs and other forms of new media, and regularly produce original content. Online media registration opens September 14, 2009. Click here for registration. The deadline for advance media registration will be Friday, December 18, 2009. On-site RegistrationAll members of the media who have not registered in advance must register at the press check-in desk at APAP Conference NYC 2010. The press check-in desk will be staffed from 8am-noon every day of the conference. Please review the media qualifications to determine if you qualify for a press credential. You must submit all documentation, as specified in this media policy including a printed copy of your media confirmation sent by email at the time of registration. No exceptions will be made. Please note: Even if you have qualified for an APAP Conference NYC press credential in previous years, you must re-qualify for each subsequent APAP conference.
