The NEA has released grant guidelines to apply for the economic recovery funds provided in the economic stimulus package for arts organizations. One-time grants will be awarded to eligible non-profit organizations including arts organizations, local arts agencies, statewide assemblies of local arts agencies, arts service organizations, units of state or local government, and a wide range of other organizations for projects that focus on the preservation of jobs in the arts. Grant applicants will be required to submit their applications electronically through Grants.gov, the federal government's online application system. The application deadline is April 2, 2009.
