Showcasing at the APAP Conference for the first time?  Thinking of showcasing?  Seasoned showcase producers shared helpful tips, answered your questions, and talked about the nuts and bolts such as deadline information during the Arts Presenters' 1st Time Showcasers webinar that was held on Thursday, October 29, 2009.

Panelist included: Nancy J. Christensen of MCM Arts and Entertainment, Larry Kosson of SMG Artists, and Ivan Sygoda of Pentacle (DanceWorks, Inc.)

ethnoMetrics Webinar Part 1: Booth Layout/ Goal Setting (presented by Arts Presenters and ethnoMetrics)

This year, Arts Presenters retained ethnoMetrics to conduct two webinars for EXPO Hall exhibitors. This first session held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 2pm EST provided basic guidance on how to make the most of your exhibit booth, covering essential elements of booth design such as eliminating common errors and making the space user friendly. This session also covered how to place "products" such as flyers, brochures, and give-aways, as well as how to staff your booth in order to have the greatest impact and to effectively engage visitors. The development of strategic goals, ranging from awareness and brand building to lead gathering, and tips for pre-promotions were also covered.

This second ethnoMetrics webinar provided by Arts Presenters for EXPO Hall exhibitors on Thursday, November 12, 2009, demonstrated how to identify and successfully engage target attendees. Topics included: How to engage booth visitors; how to know when "enough is enough;" essential booth protocol for staff; and tips for unlocking the potential in your leads. The panelists discussed ways you can measure the effectiveness of your interactions and tips for getting a return on your investment.
